About this Event
E. Michael Lunsford is something of a Renaissance man: a poet, playwright, lyricist, composer, pianist, guitarist, non-fiction writer, children's book author, inventor, entrepreneur, UI designer and mobile app developer. He has written 14 books, holds 27 patents, and has held positions as Sr. Product Manager for Palm Inc., VP of Product Management for EverNote Inc., and most recently Head of Innovation and Strategy for HP. He lived and worked for five years in England, studied physics in Germany, and received his B.A. In Literature after two years of university study in Spain before joining the MBA program at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley. He has also been a radio disc jockey in Tampa, performed as a singer-songwriter in Baltimore, and had his music performed at the New Musical Theatre of San Francisco.
His most recent comedy, SCARY, SCARY NIGHT, was selected as a semi-finalist in the annual Playwrights First contest in New York in March, 2015; selected as a finalist and winner by the Shawnee Original Playwright Series in May, 2015; and selected as a winner in the WILDsound Festival in July, 2015.
SCARY, SCARY NIGHT - THE MUSICAL was accepted by the Venus/Adonis Theatre Festival of New York for production in their 2015 season and selected as a semi-finalist in Caryl Crane Youth Theatre’s 2015 Ronald M. Ruble New Play Festival in March, 2015.
